UK-China Society of Automotive Engineers organised an online conference about the prevention of
COVID-19. We invited Dr. Nie Nixuan who works in Wuhan Wuchang hospital in China. Dr Nie shared
her experience with us in the conference, she also summarized a simplified explanation from
‘Treatment instruction version 7’.

Before we talk about how to how to prevent it, let’s have a look the way of spreading. Most
patients catch coronavirus from 4 ways:

-

  • Solution: wear mask (Surgery mask/ FFP2/FFP3).

  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. ... If you don't have a tissue, cough or sneeze into your upper sleeve, not your hands. Keep distance from the other people, if someone sneeze you can hold your breath for few seconds.

  • Goggles are not essential, normal grasses is good enough if you need talk to people face to face.

  • One table per person when you have meal outside, do not sit face to face, try not to chat while eating food.

Touch

  • Avoid touching door handles, buttons (elevator) in public area, you can wear gloves or a piece of tissue if you have to touch them. Do not touch your face, eyes, nose, mouth and ears before you wash your hands.

  • Opening your windows at home is extremely important.

Aerosol produced by Stools and urine
